What is Happening at MAV AI Day on June 5 in Omaha
A free, full-day public forum on applied AI at UNO. Sessions on health, finance and responsible AI, a hands-on exhibit opening to the public for the first time, and a room open to anyone who wants to walk in. June 5 in Omaha.

Somewhere between your morning coffee and your third scroll through LinkedIn, AI became a topic you cannot avoid. The trouble is finding a room where it gets talked about in a way that actually lands.
MAV AI Day on June 5 is open to anyone. You do not need a background in technology to walk in. You just need to show up. Here is what is on the table that day, who is leading it, and why it might be worth your Friday.

What This Day Is
UNO's AI-CCORE, the AI Center for Collaborative Outreach, Research and Education, is hosting a full-day public forum at the Barbara Weitz Community Engagement Center. Doors open at 11 a.m. The event runs until 6 p.m. It is free and open to the public. It brings industry partners, researchers and community leaders together for keynotes, panels, live demos and the conversations shaping the next decade of AI. The focus areas are finance, responsible AI and health.
The 1 p.m. Block You Should Know About
The town hall sessions are the most distinctive part of the day.
Two tracks run at the same time. AI in Health. AI in Finance. The format is designed for depth and exchange, not one-way presentations. That means you can ask questions, push back, and have an actual conversation about how AI is being applied in two sectors that affect real outcomes for real people.
